How can the Customer avail the Offer? Customer has to mandatorily register the product with necessary details with ITGI within seven (7) days of the purchase of the product. No registration shall be accepted if it is beyond the 7 days limit.

Coverage under the Insurance Scheme: Registered products will be protected against Fire, Burglary, Theft and Accidental Damage for 1 year from date of purchase

How do customers register to avail Insurance Scheme Offer? In order to register the customer can either visit the ITGI website(www.iffcotokio.co.in) and enter the requisite details or can make a call at ITGI toll free call centre no. 1800-103-5499. On registration, ITGI shall provide a registration acknowledgment through e-mail to the customer.

Coverage Limit under the Insurance scheme: Maximum limit is Rs. 7,00,000/- (Seven Lakhs Only) per customer for all claims for all products registered with ITGI. Claims arising from more than one incident shall have to be claimed as separate claim. Each claim shall be subject to a deductible amount of 10% of the claim amount or Rs 1,000/- (One Thousand Only/-) whichever is higher. Customer may please refer to the ITGI policy wordings for more details.

Whom should customer call for a claim? Intimation of Claim to ITGI shall be accepted at toll free call centre No 1800-103-5499 if called within [14] days. In case of losses arising from Theft, Robbery, Dacoity or Burglary a police report of having registered the case with police within 24 hrs of the occurrence would be required.

• General:

  • The Priority Service/ Installation Offer (“Offer”) is being provided by Samsung India Electronics Private Limited (“Samsung”) or by other third party authorized by Samsung.
  • Product Coverage: The Offer is applicable on select genuine models of Television, Refrigerator, Air Conditioner, Microwave Oven & Washing Machines (collectively called as “Products”) purchased between September 01, 2018 and December 31, 2021 (“Offer Period”) from Outlet mentioned hereinbelow.
  • Outlets: The Offer shall be applicable on purchase of genuine Products from Samsung Digital Plaza store and such other stores where Samsung extends this Offer from time to time ( “Outlet”). This Offer shall not be applicable on purchases made from third party ecommerce portals, multi- brand stores and any other store where this offer is not explicitly extended by Samsung.
  • Purchaser has to handover one copy of invoice to the engineer during installation/demo. In case of non-availability of invoice, benefits under this Offer shall not be allowed to the Purchaser.
  • This Offer will not be applicable in any of the following cases:
    • The Product is not purchased from Outlet.
    • The Product is not used according to instructions given in the instruction manual.

  • The terms and conditions of this Offer are supplement and in addition to the terms and conditions provided on the Standard Warranty Card supplied with the Product.

  • Samsung reserves the right to change/alter & modify the terms & conditions of this Offer at any given point at its sole discretion without giving any reason whatsoever.
  • Samsung shall also not be responsible for non-fulfilment of same day installation/ service force majeure events such as like climatic conditions, labour unrest, insolvency, business exigencies or operational & technical issues.
  • In no event shall Samsung be liable for losses or any incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Offer, its services these Terms (however arising, including negligence). Samsung shall not be responsible for any product or service liability of any kind.
  • In the event of any conflict or inconsistency regarding any instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional material relating to the Offer, these Terms shall prevail over all such other instructions, rules and conditions.
  • Decision of Samsung in relation to the Offer and matter incidental thereto shall be final and binding. All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India. These Terms shall be governed by exclusive laws of India and the courts located at New Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all the subject matter with relation to the Offer. The respective Offers for Samsung are as under and may vary depending on the models/ products purchased as detailed below:

Process to avail Priority Installation/ Service and free pick-up and drop:

  • Purchase of Product during Offer Period shall log request for Installation/ Service and free pick-up and drop at toll free number 1800 400 SAMSUNG.
  • Call to toll free number shall be made between 1000– 1500 Hours on Monday to Saturday, except public holidays and black- out days. For installation/ service/ pick- up calls logged after 1500 hours on working days or non- working days, public holidays and black out days, request shall be considered to be logged on the next working day and fulfilled accordingly.
  • During the visit of Samsung’s Personnel/ engineer, Purchaser shall provide original copy of invoice for verification. In case of non-availability of Invoice or ineligible invoice, visit charges as prevailing on the day of visit along with other expenses shall be levied by Samsung.

Priority Installation:

  • Purchaser has to log call for installation of Product purchased during Offer Period within 6 months of the purchase.
  • After due verification of the invoice, Samsung personnel shall proceed with standard installation of Product at the address mentioned on the invoice.
  • Any additional part(s) that maybe required for installation shall be on chargeable basis at a price prevailing at the time of installation. Further, any services availed by the Purchaser during installation beyond Samsung’s scope shall be chargeable as per prevailing rates.
  • In case premises is found locked or Samsung personnel is unable to access the premises at the scheduled time, Samsung may its option forfeit/ bar the Purchaser from availing free priority installation with regards to the Product.
  • In case installation is re-scheduled by Purchaser, time guaranteed installation shall not be applicable and Samsung shall provide time- slot for installation as per its personnel’s availability.

Priority Service

  • Purchaser has to log call for service of Product during the warranty (standard) period. Any product having extended warranty shall not be entitled for Priority Service during the extended warranty period.
  • After due verification of the invoice, Samsung personnel shall proceed with service of Product at the address mentioned on the invoice as per the terms of warranty card.
  • In case the Product cannot be serviced at the Premises, Samsung shall carry the Product to its authorized service centre and shall intimate additional cost, if any, for the same to the Purchaser.
  • Any additional part(s) that maybe required for service shall be on chargeable basis at a price prevailing at the time. Further, any services availed by the Purchaser beyond Samsung’s scope shall be chargeable as per prevailing rates.
  • In case premises is found locked or Samsung personnel is unable to access the premises at the scheduled time, Samsung may its option forfeit/ bar the Purchaser from availing free priority service with regards to the Product.
  • In case service is re-scheduled by Purchaser, time guaranteed service shall not be applicable and Samsung shall provide time- slot as per its personnel’s availability.

Free Pick- Up and Drop

  • In case Product requires further inspection and/or repairs in the opinion of visiting personnel, Product shall be taken to the authorized service centre without any additional cost.
  • This Offer shall not be applicable in the event of damage to the Product in violation of warranty card, due to negligence, mishandling, water damage etc. and Purchase shall bear cost of transportation in addition to the repair/ spare parts costs.
  • Upon service/ repair of the Product, Purchaser shall be contacted by service centre to fix an appointment for delivery of the repaired/ serviced Product. Service Centre shall make two attempts to deliver the Product, pursuant to which, cartage of Rs. 500 shall be levied for delivery.
